Mission and Vision

The mission of the English Learner Program in Hamden Public Schools is to promote and support the linguistic and academic language learning so that all students can succeed in a global environment.

Our vision is to ensure that all English Learners are able to achieve high levels of performance given relevant instruction, continuity and collaboration with the entire staff.  We will ensure equity while maintaining their cultural and linguistic identity.
